Nissan Has branched out a Factory in St.Petersburg

A solemn ceremony has taken place in Kamenka I.Z., city of St. Petersburg. The factory has been opened in two years the foundation stone was laid - on July, 8th, 2007.
On the factory in St. Petersburg there will be produced business-class sedan Nissan Teana and later on, in a quarter, the outlander, branded Nisssan X-TRAIL would have rolled off the assembly line.
After the full scale production is achieved, totally 50 000 vehicles would have been assembled per year. There should be employed 750 St. Petersburg citizens. Over forty enterprises would have been engaged onto supplement of SP and utilities for the new manufacture. This would allow providing employment opportunities for five thousand workers.
The investments are amounted to $ 200 million.
As everywhere in the world, Nissan manufacture would meet the Nissan Production Way (NPW) completely. NPW is a philosophy and the industrial method of Nissan which is a guarantee the assembled production is of good quality and meets the international standards.
