President Medvedev Recons upon Mortgage Cheapening

The president has reminded, that the day before the Central Bank made a decision to decrease the rate of refinancing for 0, 5 percent. «We should hope, that this tendency (decrease in mortgage rates) will be in progress ", - he has told. Now the mortgage rate in roubles is fluctuating within the rates of 18-20 %. Mr. Medvedev also has noted that mortgage rates, subsidized by authorities for definite categories of citizens, are vital today. «It is a unique opportunity today. To not ruin the idea, it is necessary to subsidize (the rate) for some categories of citizens ", - the president has told. As he said, it was supposed, that the prosperous people will loan mortgages themselves, and " people were ready to do it, but, certainly, not under such rates as now ".
