Ministry of Transport Will Shuffle 80 Billion Roubles on Branch Support

«In our program for 2009 we have shuffled funds from investment programs to support the transport sector of Russia.
That is about 80 billion roubles”, -has said the minister. As he has pointed out, the given funds will be addressed, first of all, to preservation and the maintenance of an existing transport infrastructure, and also to the construction of objects, including those of social significance.
Besides that money would be spent within the limits of the infrastructure projects of state-private partnership. «During crisis it is important to define an opportunity and the mechanism of attraction for private investments ", - he has told.
The Minister has added that in order to solve this problem, there have been elected a working group headed by the vice-premier of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergey Ivanov.
The largest banks and representatives of business would become its members. "We should define, that those concession treaties which we had concluded with businessmen, would be carried out ", - minister has emphasized.
He also has noted that despite of on-budget expenditures have been restricted; financing of transport infrastructure in 2009 has grown on 15 %. «that means the government has made choice the transportation is being in focus", - Mr. Levitin has told.
