The Budget of St. Petersburg Has Obtained 2,2 Times More Receipt of Funds of Property Tax

Tax revenues to the budget of St. Petersburg in the 1st quarter of year 2009 exceeded that in the 1 quarter of the last year. The vice-governor of Northern capital Mr. Michael Oseevsky informed about on Tuesday, April, 14th. He noted, that 8 % more funds were received from individual income tax, 17-18 % more from small business taxes. The Budget of St. Petersburg Has Obtained 2,2 Times More Receipt of Funds of Property Tax “It acknowledges our strategy, based on the investments into basic stock, is working. A fixed capital are renewed, the new enterprises are under construction”, - Mr. M.Oseevsky emphasized. At the same time, according to M.Oseevsky, receipts in the budget from the profit tax reduced.
