“Gazprom” recurs to the idea of constructing of liquid gas plant in the Leningrad region

OAO “Gazprom” will consider the idea of constructing the plant for manufacturing of liquefied natural gas and the marine terminal for its transshipment in harbor Primorsk (Leningrad region). This was announced in the press service of the company. The exact time frames when the recurring appraisal of the project can occur and the beginning of the realization is not announced by the company.
Previously it was planned that the project investments will amount to $ 3,7 billion , the construction time not more than 7 years, the capacity up to 7 million tons per year. The return to the idea of constructing of the plant is connected with the wish of “Gazprom” to reduce the transit exposures and to diversify the supplies and the market outlet of goods.
