"Gazprom" Will Invest the Olympic Games-2014 $2 Billions

 “Gazprom” will invest the Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi about $2 billions. It is stated in state corporation’s agenda for event’ preparation, as well as in the “Gazprom”  general investment plan on the year 2009.

It follows that the mentioned gas enterprise will spend at least RUR 68 billions on the Olympic games in the city of Sochi.

Thus, RUR 21,9 billions will be invested in construction of the pipeline Dzhugba – Lazarevskoye - Sochi, RUR 14,5 billions will be spent for building a ski stadium (capacity planned - 16000 spectators) and a tote road, RUR 4,1 billion “Gazprom” will spare on building the 600 suits’  4 stars hotel for skiers (which will be situated on the ridge of Psekhako, 1500 meters above the sea; built-up area is 45 thousands square meters). It is planned the pipeline would be finished by the year 2010, ski complex – by the October, year 2011, hotel – by May, year 2012.

Besides that, it is planned “Gazprom” will subsidize RUR 24 billions for building Thermal Station in the city of Adler just in 2009.

Accordingly, “Gazprom” will spare as much as it will be invested from the federal fund – about RUR 118 billions. “Interros” will donate for the Olympics $1,375 billions, “Basic Element” – about $1 billion. The vice-premier, Mr. Dmitry Kozak, announced, that the Olympic games in Sochi will cost about RUR 206-218 billions.   “Rosneft” has become the official oil sponsor - since they offered about $160-180 billions. Consortium of “Rostelecom” and “Megaphone” will pay the Olympics’ organizing committee $130 billions and will provide services at the equal cost. The amount of the Olympic contract with Sberbank is estimated at $110-130 billions.
